TEAM Offers Help with Winter Heating Bills

DERBY - Families and individuals seeking financial help to offset their winter heating bills may apply to TEAM for assistance.

Families and individuals may qualify for help if they fall below these income limits: $34,366 for household of one, $44,940 for a two person household, $55,514 for a three person household, $66,089 for a four person household.
 
Applicants are deemed eligible based on review of their total household gross income, such as job earnings, unemployment compensation, social security, pension etc.; household size; and liquid assets, as shown through bank statements. 
If an applicant is approved for assistance, TEAM will make direct payments to their home heating provider. 
 
Both homeowners and renters who are residents of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Milford, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, and Woodbridge can apply for energy assistance from TEAM.

TEAM to offer heating-bill assistance

DERBY - TEAM, Inc., 30 Elizabeth St., is currently taking appointments for energy assistance with winter heating bills. 

Households qualify for assistance if they fall below these income levels:  $32,514 for a household of one, $42,519 for a household of two, $52,523 for a three person household and $62,528 for a four person household.

“This year is predicted to be one of the coldest yet and we want the community to know that TEAM offers a heating assistance program,” said Ellen McAuliffe, TEAM Manager of Energy Assistance.
“This program is developed to help those who are struggling financially and could use assistance to get through the upcoming winter months.”
Applicants are eligible based on review of their total gross household income, such as job earnings, unemployment compensation, social security, pension, etc.; household size; and liquid assets, as shown through bank statements. 
If an applicant is approved for assistance, TEAM will make direct payments to their home heating provider.
Both homeowners and renters who are residents of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Milford, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton and Woodbridge can apply for energy assistance from TEAM.

TEAM in Derby offers heating bill assistance


DERBY - Families and individuals needing financial help to off-set their winter heating bills, now is the time to apply to TEAM for assistance. 
Households may qualify for assistance if they fall below these income levels: $32,190 for a household of one, $42,094 for a household of two, $51,999 for a three-person household and $61,904 for a four-person household.
“We know there are individuals and families who may not be aware of the heating assistance program,” said Ellen McAuliffe, TEAM Manager of Energy Assistance.
“We want to help those vulnerable families who financially struggle in this economy, to get through the upcoming winter months.”

Direct payments 
Applicants are eligible based on review of their total gross household income, such as job earnings, unemployment compensation, Social Security, pension, etc.; household size; and liquid assets, as shown through bank statements.
If an applicant is approved for assistance, TEAM will make direct payments to their home heating provider.

TEAM offers energy assistance

Applicants' income determines eligibility


DERBY - Maintaining a warm household during winter months can be costly. 
Families and individuals who have not obtained help to offset winter heating bills can apply up to May 1 for assistance from TEAM, Inc.
 
Eligible households may secure fuel deliveries and have their utility heating costs defrayed. For households whose heat is included in their rent, one-time financial assistance is available. 

 Eligibility is determined by income, household size and liquid assets.
