SEYMOUR >> The Board of Education recently approved a $32.7 million
budget for the 2015-16 school year.
The budget represents an increase of $1 million, or 3.2 percent, over the
current $31.7 million budget. The board unanimously approved the budget at a
meeting Jan. 8, which now heads to the town’s Board of Finance for a review and
vote. Voters will cast ballots on a town and school budget during a referendum
later this spring.
