New Britain man gets 10 years in shooting of Ansonia man in Derby

MILFORD — The second of three co-defendants who allegedly slammed their vehicle into a car in Derby and peppered the car with bullets in broad daylight, injuring an Ansonia man, received a 10-year prison sentence Monday.
Stephen Cook, 30, of 52 Carlson St., New Britain, pleaded guilty last month to first-degree assault, and conspiracy to committee first-degree assault was sentenced to 10 years in prison by Superior Court Judge Richard Arnold.
