SHELTON - Anna Mae Finnucan, a resident at Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community, celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this month.
Anna Mae Finnucan
A longtime New York Yankees fan, she requested a Yankees-themed party and was delighted to receive a donation of 100 New York Yankees baseball caps for the occasion.

The hats were distributed at the party and given out “to Yankees fans only” according to Finnucan's wishes.
A group photo was taken and a bouquet of flowers, along with a New York Yankees birthday cake, were presented to her.

A community volunteer entertained residents with melodies on the piano and cake and punch were served.
