ANSONIA >> Demolition of the former Ansonia Copper & Brass plant got underway Tuesday,
bringing a historic part of the city’s manufacturing past crashing to the
ground.
“This is an exciting new chapter for the city of Ansonia,” said Mayor David
Cassetti. “Blighted industrial space is being converted into a blank canvas on
which the future of economic development can be painted.”
