ANSONIA >> The city and the Hamden developer who bought 10 acres of
abandoned Farrel property downtown last year struck a deal this week to clean up
the blighted eyesore.

the city signed a remediation agreement that gives Diakhate until Jan. 31, 2015,
to clean up the graffiti, overgrown brush, fix broken windows and more to secure
the property.

property, to keep squatters out, he’s in the process of getting prices and
should have it up by next week, according to Corporation Counsel John
Marini.
