SEYMOUR >> The former, historic LoPresti School, which served countless
elementary school students over the last century will get a new lease on life as

developer John Guedes the green light to convert the vacant, 104-year brick
building into 42 market-rate apartments.
The commission granted Guedes a zone change from residential to multi-family,
paving the way for Guedes to start construction this spring. He anticipates the
project should be complete by spring 2016.
