Seymour to Honor Veterans with Annual Candlelight Vigil

SEYMOUR >> The town is making plans to honor the men and women of the military during its 32nd annual Veterans Day candlelight vigil.
The ceremony, which will honor all those who fought and are still fighting in the name of freedom, will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Broad Street Park, located at the corner of Broad and River streets. The public is invited to attend.
Col. Michael Casey, a retired Army veteran, will serve as this year’s keynote speaker, according to VFW Post 12084 Commander Al Yagovane, who serves as organizer of the annual vigil.
