ANSONIA >> The city has further pledged its commitment to keeping the
historic Farrel Corp. here by naming a soon-to-be-built road that will lead to
its new location in the Fountain Lake Commerce Park after the 166-year old
company.
The Board of Aldermen unanimously voted at its meeting Tuesday to name the
new road Farrel Boulevard.
Planning and Zoning Commission Chairman Joseph Jaumann sent the aldermen a
letter last month, requesting the access road be named so that future tenants,
including Farrel, can have items delivered there during the construction
phase.
