DERBY >> A local church is once again asking the community to lace up
their sneakers and do their part to help victims of domestic violence.
Walnut Hill Community Church’s Derby campus is gearing up to host its 3rd
annual 5K Easter Run/Walk to Fight Domestic Violence.
The net proceeds from the event will benefit BHCare’s Umbrella Center for
Domestic Violence Services. The Umbrella serves Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby,
Oxford, Seymour and Shelton,as well as towns along the New Haven Shoreline
