DERBY >> The Board of Education unanimously voted Wednesday to hire
William A. Vitelli as Derby Middle School’s new principal, to get the school
“back on track.”
Vitelli will earn an annual salary in the “mid-$120,000” range, and will
start before the end of this school year, according to Superintendent of Schools
Matthew Conway.
