SHELTON >> A Roxbury woman is facing charges after police allegedly
found that she had cocaine and drug paraphernalia in a hotel room here, where
she was allegedly charging for sexual acts.
Tammara Emmons, 40, was arrested Thursday after an investigation into
complaints of online-advertised prostitution in area hotels, police spokesman
Detective Chris Nugent said in a press release Friday morning.
Nugent said detectives responded to an online ad and set up a meeting with
Emmons at a hotel on Bridgeport Avenue. At the hotel, Emmons and an undercover
officer allegedly agreed on a price for a sexual act.
