Derby's Sterling Opera House to get a bit of a paint touchup​

DERBY — If only the walls of the stately Sterling Opera House could talk.
The history contained inside the former theater on Elizabeth Street could fill a book — a very large book.
The opera house was built in 1889 and became the first building in Connecticut to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1968. It has recently been the subject of paranormal investigations, including one earlier this year by the SyFy Channel’s “Ghost Hunters” crew.
