Shelton fire board restarts process to hire a new chief (video)

SHELTON — The Board of Fire Commissioners voted Tuesday to reopen the controversial process of hiring a fire chief.
The board’s action comes on the heels of Mayor Mark A. Lauretti twice rejecting the commission’s unanimous choice of veteran Firefighter Mike Ullrich.
