Seymour storm damage tops $1.55 M

SEYMOUR — Last month’s fast-moving storm that ravaged several parts of town caused more than $800,000 in damage, according to town officials, and that doesn’t include the devastation incurred at the Seymour Land Trust’s Legion Pool park.
First Selectman Paul Roy told the Board of Selectmen this week that the town engineer is continuing to assess the storm damage.
