Summer reading club for teens slated in Derby

DERBY - The Derby Public Library invites young adults ages 12 to 17 to join its 2013 Teen Summer Reading Club running from June 24 through Aug. 15.  
This year’s theme is “Beneath the Surface,” channeling members beyond the superficial through a variety of Library programs and resources. 
Earn credits toward weekly prizes for reading and reviewing books and articles; evaluating websites; and participating in rewarding programs; all while making new friends and exploring beyond the mundane. Every credit earned through the seven-week program will be used for drawing a grand prize winner. 
Registration begins June 3.
