ANSONIA - Whooo wants to view live owls?
Come and learn the adaptations and
habits of Connecticut’s silent flyers at 2 p.m. Monday, President's Day holiday, at the Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center.
Get a chance to see some of our
majestic resident species up close.
Be prepared to hike to our Raptor
Woods to explore Great Horned Owl territory.
Perhaps we may even see or
hear one or find a pellet or two.
This program is free, but registration is requested. Call 203-736-1053.
The nature center is at 10 Deerfield Road.
This post is excerpted from the nature center's February calendar.
