DERBY - The Derby Public Library has scheduled its next Lunchtime Book Discussion for 12:30 p.m. Feb. 26.
The selected title is the gripping novel The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty.
Discovering a tattered letter that says she is to open
it only in the event of her husband’s death, Cecelia, a successful family woman, is unable to resist reading the letter and discovers a secret that shatters her life and the lives of two other women.
This is a thought-provoking story about how well it is really possible to know our spouses, and ultimately ourselves.
Multiple copies of the book are available at the circulation desk.
Participants are asked to bring a sandwich and a friend as they “chat and chew.”
Dessert and beverages will be provided. Registration is requested.
