SHELTON - Wesley Village has announced the appointment of Dawn Supranovich, a longtime employee, as Dining Services Manager for the Wesley Village campus, 580 Long Hill Ave.
Supranovich served as a chef for several years and as Manager of Dining Services Operations for eight years before taking on her new role.
The award-winning dining services team was previously managed by 45-year Wesley Village employee, Jack O’Donnell, whose retirement in December 2013 prompted the change.
Supervising the 83-member dining services team, Supranovich will be responsible for overseeing daily dining services operations on the campus, including annual family day picnics, holiday parties, employee events, the annual Festival of Trees event (in collaboration with TEAM, Inc. of Derby), and several off-campus events to benefit community organizations.
Supranovich has played an essential role in implementing best practices for dining services, innovative initiatives, including the tray-less dining program at Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center, and collaborative culinary activities for residents and families.
Wesley
Village includes Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community, Wesley
Heights Assisted and Independent Living Community, and Bishop Wicke
Health and Rehabilitation Center.
The campus provides a continuum of relationship-centered care and is owned and operated by United Methodist Homes, a local, nonprofit organization based in Shelton.
