Ansonia restaurant to host block party

ANSONIA - The Pantry, a breakfast and lunch restaurant, will hold a block party downtown Saturday to celebrate its grand opening.
The Pantry is located at 384 E. Main St. The street will be blocked off from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday for the event, which includes a pig roast.

There will be a car show, a bike show, and live music.
A full menu will be available and an eating contest will be featured. The first 12 entrants in the eating competition will receive a $50 gift certificate.
