Well
known for its charitable history, the W.E. Bassett Co. and the
Bassett family have supported Valley nonprofits for nearly 70 years.
As a
result, William C. Bassett
was honored with the first Joseph A. Pagliaro, Sr. Philanthropic Award
at the Valley Community Foundation’s 10th Anniversary celebration in June.

Lynne Perry, Betsy DePaolo and Bill (W.H.), have
continued the legacy of philanthropy begun by William E. and Harry
Bassett, through the Bassett Family Fund at the Valley Community
Foundation.
