Congratulations go out to Ansonia's Teacher of the Year
John C. Mead Elementary School art teacher Lisa Toto, Ansonia's Teacher of the Year, works with fifth graders Alexis Sanchez, center, and Chloe Stalker on a project about the human ear.
When I talked with Toto Friday in her classroom about her 21-year education career, which has spanned all grade levels, it was clear she has a real passion for teaching.
I congratulate Toto on being named Teacher of the Year.
Check out a story about her in today's New Haven Register.
