Summer festival in Oxford to benefit organization that supports needy children

OXFORD - BAREFOOT, A Summer Festival, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 11
at the Colonial Tavern, 24 Hawley Road.

There will be lots of fun, family-oriented activities.

Admission is $5 for ages 5 and up, and free for ages 4 and under.

There will be a flea market with a variety of vendors, as well as live music by Gravyhound and face painting by Ruth.

All proceeds will benefit the Connecticut Partnership for Children.

A classic car show (1990 model year is the cut-off) will include a burn-out pit and gift bags.
Admission is $10; $8 if you pre-register your car.

There will be local craft beer and wine tasting. Admission to the tasting tent is $20. It will be for ages 21 and up, ID required for admission.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The pool will be closed.
