Message from Derby OEM

Updated reverse 911 from Derby police:

This is a message from the Chief of the Derby Police Department.

We ask that all but essential personnel remain off of the roadways until tomorrow evening.

Plowing and snow removal will continue into the early evening and then resume at midnight.

The Public Works Department is working diligently to provide emergency access to all roadways and then will continue to widen roadways and remove snow over the next few days.

Residents are requested to avoid the downtown area overnight as many roads will be closed.

All municipal buildings will be closed per order of the mayor on Monday February 11th with the exception essential and emergency services.

We thank you for you cooperation during this snow emergency.
