Ansonia police searching for missing 16-year-old girl

ANSONIA >> Police are requesting the assistance of area news agencies to locate a 16-year old female who was reported missing, Lt. Andrew Cota said in a press release Sunday afternoon.

Arline Vance, 16, of North Spring Street was reported missing at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sunday.

She was last seen at her home at 4 p.m. Saturday. She told her father she was going out with friends and would return later. She has not returned home and has not been in contact with her family.

Arline is described as a 5’3” tall white female with reddish/brown hair. She weighs approximately 120 pounds and has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and grey tank top and blue jean shorts.
At this time Ansonia Police are trying to locate Arline Vance to make sure she is safe.

Vance left her residence on her own and was not involved in any type of family issues prior to her leaving the house, Cota said in the release.
