Griffin Hospital in Derby welcomes primary care physician

Griffin Faculty Physicians, an affiliate of Griffin Hospital in Derby, welcomes Dr. Masha Resman, to its network of primary care physicians.

Resman officially joins Griffin Faculty Physicians Aug. 12 and will offer primary care full-time at her office at Ivy Brook Medical Center, 2 Ivy Brook Road., Suite 115, Shelton.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to patient centered care to Griffin’s Shelton Primary Care office. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Neuroscience and Physiology from the University of California at Los Angeles, she earned her medical degree at the University of California at San Diego.

She completed an internal medicine internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury and a general surgery internship at N.Y. Hospital of Queens. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco.
