It's good to see Seymour spirit is still alive and well.
Last week it was disheartening to say the least to learn that someone had absconded with a brand-new sign that had been installed June 15 at the driveway leading up to the entrance to Seymour High School.
The long-awaited sign said "Wildcat Way," named after the school's football team mascot. Town and school officials were pleased to see the sign installed.
On Friday Alex Budzinski, owner of the former Housatonic Wire Co. in town, said he would cover the cost of replacing the sign.
We commend Budzinski on his community spirit.
