DERBY - The Derby Public Library will host a Video Production Seminar for patrons ages 11 to 17 from 4 -5:30 p.m. April 16.
Presenter Marc Weissman - producer and host of the local community-access TV show “Looking Up: A View From The Valley” - will demystify the requirements for using the tools and facilities available to the public free of charge from a local cable company.
Among the many areas Weissman will discuss include: concept development, training, filming, editing, distribution and promotion.
Actual broadcasted clips and HD video equipment will be demonstrated on-site, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own ideas for show topics.
