Talk on state's labor history slated at Derby Neck

DERBY - Derby Neck Library will host a talk by Anson Smith on the Remington-Rand Strike of 1937 at 6:30 p.m. May 2.

Hear how the tactics and strategies of this labor movement were different from anything before seen in Connecticut labor history.

Smith, who works at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, is an executive board member of the Greater New Haven Labor History Association.
He has done extensive research on his subject.
