Low vision support group to learn coping strategies in Shelton

SHELTON - The next meeting of the low vision support group in Shelton - Learn to See the World - will be held at 3 p.m. April 24 in the Gallery at Crosby Commons at Wesley Village, 580 Long Hill Ave..

Guest speaker will be Charlie Collins, owner/founder of Vision Dynamics.
Legally blind from the age of 13, Collins will share his story, struggles, and success.  He will also demonstrate strategies and products to assist with tasks such as reading prescription bottles, crossword puzzles, playing cards, writing checks and reading menus.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

Individuals with low vision or are legally blind are encouraged to attend for fellowship and support.
