This is a sample of the certificate that Korean War veterans will receive April 16.
On Tuesday Korean War veterans who live in the Valley will be recognized at a ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the war.
The ceremony will be held thanks to the hard work of Korean War veteran Alphonse Sabetta of Shelton who has organized the event. Sabetta served in the U.S. Army.
A big thank you goes out to all those who served in what has been called "the Forgotten War."
