In a Code Red Alert for Ansonia this morning, residents were told that all city streets are closed, per Gov. Malloy's order. People are asked to stay off the roads to allow snow plows to get through.
The parking ban is still in effect.
Residents are urged to please check exterior vents for furnaces and dryers and clear them so that carbon monoxide doesn't build up inside their houses.
Also, residents are requested to "make an attempt" to clear around hydrants near their property.
Stay safe!
