Derby Library to hold workshop on dementia

            DERBY - The Derby Public Library has scheduled a workshop, An Overview of
Dementia/Alzheimer’s including Communication Techniques at 6:30 p.m. June 30.

             Maria Tomasetti, South Central Regional Director of the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, will be the presenter. 
          Areas covered will include warning signs, types and treatments.  

           Tips on how to stay connected by using effective communication techniques when dealing with behavioral challenges will be given.
