Singer to kick off Derby Public Library's summer programs

DERBY - The Derby Public Library will kick off its summer programming season at 6:30 p.m. June 23.
Professional singer, songwriter, and guitarist Les Julian will present A Little Bit O’ Broadway.

This lively concert will feature songs from The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King, Smokey Joe’s Café, and more.

Julian has performed in hundreds of libraries, theaters, art festivals, colleges, senior centers, and schools.

With the goal of emphasizing the imagination and creating community through music, he
brings his songs to life with his storyteller’s face, three octave voice, guitar pyrotechnics,
and chameleon wit and joy.
Through the years, Julian has become a favorite at the Library.

Registration is requested.
