Nature education day slated in Ansonia

Event is in educator's memory

ANSONIA - The Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center staff and the friends of the late John Adzima will host a day of nature study this summer at the nature center.

After several brain-storming sessions director Alison Rubelmann said, "Ansonia preschoolers will honor John's memory and his love for nature and young children on July 2."

The planning committee meets regularly at the Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center, 10 Deerfield Road, to organize this special day for School Readiness students.
The students will learn about the Redwing Pond and the children's organic gardening work in the park.

Adults interested in helping with the program are asked to call Rubelmann, 203-736-1053 for more information.
The nature center is at 10 Deerfield Road.

This is a press release from the nature center.
