SHELTON >> Local police are investigating a reported armed
robbery at a Cumberland Farms in the Pine Rock Park section of town over
the weekend.
Police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky said in a press release Monday that
the robbery was reported around 2 a.m. Sunday. He said an employee told
police that a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black ski
mask came into the store, demanded money and also showed a handgun.
The suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of money and the employee wasn’t injured.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 203-924-1544.
