Benefit planned for Derby endowment fund

DERBY - The La Sala Banquet Hall at the Sons of Italy, 73 High St., is the place to be on March 24 for the second annual spring fundraiser to benefit the Derby Community Endowment Fund.

The fund was started in March 2012 to aid education and beautification in the city.

The benefit will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be hors d'oeuvres and fund organizer Mark Nichols said entertainer Danny Magic will perform.

Tickets are $15.
