Missing Ansonia resident, 19, located, safe

From an e-mail today from Ansonia police Lt. Andrew Cota:

"Thank you for your assistance in regards to Sylvester Waiters. He has been located and is safe."


This is what was reported Tuesday

ANSONIA – Police are searching for a missing 19-year-old.

Sylvester Waiters is black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue collared shirt, white baseball cap, and blue jeans.

He was last seen around 12:30 p.m. in Stratford, and was last spoken to over the phone at 2 p.m.
 According to a police press release, Waiters told his mother on the phone that he wanted his problems to end.
GPS tracking on Waiters’ phone showed him in Ansonia and Bridgeport throughout the day, but police have not been able to make contact with him.
