Griffin in Derby receives $2,000 donation for radiology suite

DERBY – The Joseph P. Amico Memorial Fund recently donated $2,000 to Griffin Hospital for its new Interventional Radiology Suite.
The JPA Memorial Fund was created in memory of Joseph Amico, a former Ansonia High graduate, Bethany resident, and son of Nicholas and Evelyn Amico
The Fund supports college scholarships and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
The donation will help Griffin Hospital enhance and expand its IR services with advanced imaging technology that is used to diagnose and treat a vast range of diseases for both inpatients and outpatients.
