Valley NAACP, Ansonia church host program to honor MLK's legacy

ANSONIA - A program to celebrate the legacy of slain civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was held Monday at Greater Evangel Temple, Church of God in Christ.

Monday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday.

Ansonia Mayor David S. Cassetti said 'today we carry on (King's) fight for equality.'
