Shelton police list closures, detours downtown

SHELTON - The following is an update of closures and detours related to the ongoing fire investigation downtown from Shelton Police spokesman Lt. Robert Kozlowsky.

Intersections closed

Howe Ave and Bridge St
Howe Ave and Cornell St
Coram and Cornell St
Coram from Cornell St to Fairmont Pl
Center St from Long Hill Ave to Howe Ave
West Canal St (Open to local traffic only)

Intersections detoured

Motorists approaching Howe Ave and Brook St will be detoured to Oak Ave
Motorists approaching Howe Ave and White St will be detoured to Perry Ave

Be advised these closures and detours are subject to change because the scene is still a fluid situation, Kozlowsky said.
