DERBY - E-mails, phone calls, “snail” mail or a knock on your door are ways that scams and fraud enter your household, wallet and life.
It’s been estimated that more than eight out of 10 consumers have received a potentially fraudulent offer.
From 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday a representative from the FBI New Haven office will be at TEAM for a workshop about how to identify a scam, what to watch out for, and what to do if you are a victim of identity theft.
Learn more about how to safeguard your identity and wallet during this unique interactive workshop.
Call TEAM today to reserve a spot. The workshop is free but seating is limited.
TEAM is at 30 Elizabeth St.
Call 203-736-5420 x 209 to RSVP.
This is a press release from TEAM.
