ANSONIA - Free health screenings and programs on how to stay healthy and safe highlight the 7th Annual Community Health Fair to be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church, 96 Central St.
Attendees can receive free health screenings for stroke assessments (including cholesterol), blood pressure and diabetic screenings.
In addition, the fair will feature the Child Identification Program (CHIP), health and wellness displays and interactive health education booths.
The event is sponsored by Griffin Hospital’s Valley Parish Nurse Program, Valley NAACP and The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven Neighborhood Small Grants.
