SHELTON - The
Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley is holding tryouts Nov. 26
for its Travel Basketball Team.
Boys in grades 5-8
are eligible to try out. The schedule is 6:30-7:30 p.m. for grades 5-6 and
8-9
p.m. for grades 7-8.
If selected for a team, the $100 entrance fee includes a uniform and
membership to the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley
for the 2012-2013 school year. There is no guarantee on selection for a
team or playing time.
Practices are held once a week in the gymnasium at One Positive Place, beginning after Thanksgiving. Games are played in Derby on
Saturdays and Sundays.
