A free breast wellness talk at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at St. Mary
Church Hall, 338 North Main St., Naugatuck, aims to educate the
community about breast cancer.
Cary Carpino, R.N., of Griffin Hospital’s Parish Nursing Program will
present “Be Empowered!” to bring awareness to the fact Connecticut
ranks second in the nation for the incidence of breast cancer and that
Naugatuck and Shelton have breast cancer mortality rates higher than the
state average.
Pre-registration is requested but not required.
