Cyclist hurt in Ansonia

    ANSONIA >> A bicyclist was injured at about 1 p.m. Thursday after reportedly crashing into a stonewall on Colony Street, Lt. Andrew Cota said in an e-mail.
    ”Upon officers’ arrival they found a male lying along the side of the road against a stonewall on Colony Street near the Seymour town line,” he said.
    “The male appeared to have serious head injuries and was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital,” Cota said.
   
    The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Ansonia Police Department, 203-735-1885.

The identity of the 34-year old is being withheld until family members can be notified.
