DERBY >> City police and the federal Occupational Safety and
Health Administration are investigating a Monday afternoon fatality on
Commerce Street, the Valley Independent Sentinel reported Monday evening.
Few details, such as the identity or cause of death of the victim, were available, the Indy said.
Police had no information Monday evening.
A person reportedly died inside a large garage-type structure at
36 Commerce St., next to Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 34, the Indy said.
Tax records show the building is owned by Frank Pepe, of F. Pepe Construction, and Glenn W. Farr.
