Group donates $10K to Smilow Clubhouse program in Ansonia

The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley has received a $10,000 donation from the Friends of Jimmy Miller Inc. to support its homework program at the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse in Ansonia. 
The Friends of Jimmy Miller Inc. has been a supporter of the Boys & Girls Club for many years. Their donation will help run the Power Hour program, which operates daily for Club members needing assistance with their homework. 
The goal of the program is to raise the academic proficiency of participating members.
