 Summer reading
The Library invites young adults ages 12 to 17 to join its 2014 Teen Summer Reading Club running from June 23 through Aug. 7.
This year’s theme is “Spark a Reaction,” channeling members’ energies through a variety of Library programs.
Participants earn credits toward weekly prizes for reading and reviewing books and participating in rewarding activities, all while making new friends and exploring resources.
Every credit earned through the seven-week program will be used for drawing a grand prize winner. Registration begins June 2.
For information on any program, stop by the Library at 313 Elizabeth St., call 203-736-1482, or visit www.derbypubliclibrary.org.

This is a press release from Tony DeLos, young adult/reference librarian, Derby Public Library.
