OXFORD - Valley
Fire, an over-30 women’s soccer team, based in Oxford, is seeking
players for the spring season.
Players must turn 30 by Dec. 31, 2014, although goalkeepers can be 28.
The team plays in the Nutmeg Women’s League, and games are at 4 p.m. Sundays.
The league is considered recreational; however play is competitive and
skills/experience are necessary.
Valley Fire practices Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to practice, whether or not they play on the team.
